The Global Vacation Club is operated by LSI, the European division of Signature Resorts Inc., one of the largest holiday ownership companies in the world.
Instead of owning a traditional timeshare, in joining a Points Club you buy a share in the Club, which is priced in terms of points.
A point is the currency in which all holidays are priced.
Within the Club, each resort, style of property and season has a points value.
Each year you are allocated that number of points with which you can choose holidays at times of year and resorts to suit yourself, from those within the Club.
The allocation of holidays is administered by RCI on behalf of the Club.
The Club has accommodation at 5 resorts in the UK (including Kenmore) and 16 in Mainland Spain and Tenerife.
The Global Vacation Club will be wound up on 31 December 2063 and at that time all property of the Club will be sold and the net proceeds distributed amongst the members at that time.
It is possible to sell points and to transfer membership to whomever you wish at any time, or bequeath it under the terms of a will.
