The summer ferry timetable valid from mid April to mid October is roughly as follows: Vehicle ferry from Skye to North Uist: A ferry runs from Uig on Skye to Lochmaddy on North Uist and takes 1 hour 50 minutes. Monday, Wednesday and Friday: twice a day. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: once a day. Sundays: twice a day. Vehicle reservation required. Air: By air to Benbecula Airport: From Stornoway: twice daily Monday to Friday From Inverness (via Stornoway): twice daily Monday to Friday From Barra: twice daily Monday to Friday From Glasgow: one flight a day Monday to Friday, two on Saturdays.
