The beaches in North Uist are the best in the world! Very, very long, unspoilt, warm enough to swim in the sea and you'll often be the only person there - for as far as you can see.
The best beaches are at Claddach Shanda, Balranald and Traigh Eiar. In the garage there are body boards, buckets and spades - help yourself!
